Vladimir Salamatov Receives the Medal for Contribution to the Development of the Eurasian Economic Union

The ceremony to award the medals of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on the nomination of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council was held at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on September 16.

Vladimir Salamatov, General Director of ITI, was presented with the award by Maxim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

Maxim Oreshkin also gave awards for contribution to the development of the Eurasian Economic Union to representatives of public authorities, international and non-profit organizations, and the business community.

As it is known, on May 29, 2019, the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) held a jubilee session in Nur-Sultan (the Republic of Kazakhstan). The event was timed to coincide with the 5th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian integration idea. To commemorate the anniversaries, it was decided to award Medals for Contribution to the Development of the Eurasian Economic Union to the participants of the integration project as a recognition of their merits.
