In the course of conducting documentary audits over the last two years, ITI Research Center experts identified a number of typical mistakes made in declarations of conformity with product safety requirements.
The most common mistakes are the following:
— no clear classification of the product in accordance with the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System of the EAEU (HS Codes);
— no data about national or international standards in the additional information section of the declaration of conformity;
— no data about the location of the production facility;
— in some cases, information about HS Codes and standardization documents is missing altogether.
