ITI at the Eurasian Week Forum in Bishkek

Maxim Vorobyev, Director of Analytic Research of the International Trade and Integration Research Center (ITI), took part in the Eurasian Week forum – the largest international business forum in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The 4th International Forum "Eurasian Week 2019" was held in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Forum brought together over 2000 people from 31 countries.

The agenda of the event included defining new vectors of integration, strengthening the cooperation with Eastern foreign partners, creating export opportunities, devising measures to reduce the vulnerability to the global economic instability.

Maxim Vorobyev took part in the panel session "Prospects for the Development of the Construction Materials Industry as Part of the Eurasian Integration" where, alongside other leading EAEU experts, he spoke about the prospects for the construction materials industry in the context of the Eurasian integration.

The Forum participants gave special attention to the panel session "EAEU: Integration into the Global Market and Opportunities on Asia-Pacific Markets" which was attended by Veronika Nikishina, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The panel session was focused on expanding contacts on foreign markets and the markets of the Asia-Pacific region. The report presented by Maxim Vorobyev was also devoted to this issue.
