ITI at the Interregional Export Forum

Vladimir Salamatov, General Director of ITI, attended the II Interregional Export Forum which was held on September 26-27 with organizational support from the Russian Export Center. The Forum is positioned as an expert and educational platform for enhancing exports. Its primary goal is to create a unique environment for accelerating the activities of already working exporters and newcomers to the export market.

On September 26, Vladimir Salamatov moderated the session titled "Export in Agricultural Sector" where he told the audience about the dynamics of the Russian exports and the constraining factors. For details, see "Russia's exports in the agricultural sector have grown by 21% over the past year".

At the session titled "State Mechanisms for Export Support", Vladimir Salamatov stressed the importance of modernizing educational standards in universities for study programs connected with international trade. For details, see the "People are interested in export growth" article on our website.

Also, Vladimir Salamatov took part in a session of the Export subgroup of the Economics and Finance working group of the State Council of the Russian Federation. During the session, Andrey Slepnev, Director General of the Russian Export Center, presented a beta version of REC's export navigator. Read more here.

The II Interregional Export Forum has shown itself to be a venue where entrepreneurs can learn about state mechanisms of export support, attend seminars on export activities, take part in networking events with representatives of federal authorities and development institutions, and forge links with foreign buyers, foreign trade and industry chambers, Russia's trade representatives in foreign countries, and intermediaries on foreign markets.
