On 7 February 2018, Vladimir Iurevich Salamatov, the General Director, held a workshop named Public Councils at Federal Executive Bodies. Features of Interaction between Business and Government in the framework of the all-university course GR in Modern Russia: Theory and Practice of the Department of Theory and Practice of the Interaction between Business and Government Department.
Vladimir Iurevich described in detail the activities of the World Economic Forum as one of the forms of interaction between business and government uniting thousand businessmen and companies, as well as several government representatives. 400 sessions of the current agenda of the Forum are designed to respond to challenges identified by, among others, the Club of Rome.
Considering the main channels of interaction between business and government, Vladimir Iurevich paid special attention to the Public Councils during his workshop. He analyzed their role in France, USA and examined in detail the activities of the EAEU Business Council, which implies a supranational format of interaction.
In the final part of the workshop students could ask the expert, in particular, about the success and effectiveness of activities of Public Councils, analytical activities of Public Councils regarding the barriers faced by the business.
